  2. It Would be really cool if y’all had a drone festival somewhere or get together on or around Thanksgiving to really bring the drone crowd together. my name is Michael Butts and I’ve been into drone photography for a while now even though I’m only 13 I have created a small community business for arial/drone photography. I would really appreciate that DJI it would really get me into Ariel photography even more than now. Thanks!

  3. Cool contest here, but what if I don’t have a facebook account? Is there any possibility for me to participate?

    • Hello Sorin – Do you have an Instagram or Twitter handle? We can certainly make an exception for you.

  4. i think the poke drone by TRND labs is a very cool idea as it helps pokemon go players by reaching area where they usually would not be able to reach.

    • Hello Florence – Do you mind transferring this comment into the link provided above? This way we can consolidate all submissions into one sub domain. Helps with confusions, such as duplicating an idea (submissions). Let us know if you have any questions. Thanks!

  5. i think the go pro karma is an amazing idea as the gopro is used on lots of other drones they have made a drone for there camera at last and i like the idea of it folding up.

  6. Mine Sweeping: The Mine Kafon Drone is something very practical and much safer than sending people out to figure out where the land mines are. This is a much needed use for using drones. It could save alot of lives

  7. While watching battle bots, it would be fun to take it to the next level and hsve competition laser tag drone dog fights. Several target areas could be added and the most hits in a specified time frame would be the winner. The lasers would all need to point down to avoid aircraft interuption.

  8. I read an article on putting LED lights on Drones to do landscape photography at night. What does this mean? You can pick up the backlight of the stars by opening up the lens, but if you flood light on a certain area then that area would light up too. Historically, we would use a lantern, car, or some light source. These two guys here have came up with something pretty exciting to the world of photography. Check out this amazing video on how its’ done. https://vimeo.com/182751756 and here is the article that was posted on their work. https://fstoppers.com/diy/highlight-drone-lighting-nightscapes-paul-heran-and-ryland-west-152231. Taking photographs and videos with drones is not really a 2016 concept, but using LED lights to flood and strobe light is quite a new feat for night time photography.

  9. My own idea is to utilize the 2.7K HD Video Camera on the DHI Phantom 3 drone for contractors such as roofers, architects of houses/buildings and other jobs that require labour and a ladder. This way the contractor can get a good picture, literally, on Mr. Jones roof, and Mr. Jones is assured he does indeed need new shingles and repairs. Seems like we are all being transported to the future of tech very quickly and the drone can help us in many ways!

  10. We live on a river and have four rescue dogs. While they get supervised river time, they also periodically “escape” and I have to go up and down the river to get them back. It may take an hour or more but, with a Phantom Drone, I can find them from the comfort of my porch and, as they are frightened by unusual noises, I can herd them back to the yard. If this works, I’ll get a more professional, heavier model and retrofit it with bottle rockets. As an engineer in a former life, that’ll be a snap. If the engineering is a tad shoddy and an ignited rocket didn’t release, I’m naming the upgraded unit the “Hindenburg”. Does homeowner’s insurance cover drone disasters?

Ps Many of my neighbors have dogs who escape and, periodically, I go out searching for errant critters. Drones are the answer. Sit, look at a screen, drink beer. Can you get a “DUI” (droning under the influence)?

    • Hi Jim, in order to submit for the contents, we need you to add your comment to this page: http://localhost:10004/best-drone-ideas-of-2016/

Thank you for participating! And don’t forget to share your on Facebook to complete your submission!

      Happy flying!

  11. We can use drone technique for gps purpose,to get info about trafic ahead or we can use it to see whether road is good to go on hilly areas and mountain areas
